Lisa Boostani is a French director, photographer and performer of Spanish/Iranian origin. A graduate of photography at Gobelins school of Image in Paris, she works in the fields of arts and fashion.
Her practice is rooted in a process of self healing that taps into the renewal potential of the body.Navigating the digital landscapes, she takes on avatars to highlight the way in which screen interfaces alienate our relationship with the world. Her desire for connection finds expression in her multidimensional practice which uses the body as a vector of consciousness. The artist believes in an art that is energetically charged and a catalyst for transformation. Her art illustrates both our state of fragmentation and our quest for unity. It invites us to reconnect with an intuitive and sensitive consciousness.
